Safety Measures against COVID-19

Access to the Expocentre Fairgrounds

•  By the Decree of the Mayor of Moscow the admission to the exhibition is possible by QR codes only. Wearing protective face masks is also mandatory. 

•  Please let Expocentre staff measure your body temperature using non-contact measuring devices. In case of higher body temperature and/or cold-related diseases symptoms the exhibitor is not allowed to enter the Fairgrounds.  

•  Preliminary visitor registration on www.metal-expo.com is needed. A QR code needs to be uploaded in the visitor's online office next to the name field.

Since international QR codes are not recognized in Russia, any foreign visitor coming to the exhibition needs to take a Covid-19 PCR test. It is possible to take the PCR test on arrival in any Moscow airport. After taking the negative PCR test you will receive a QR code which needs to be uploaded in the visitor's online office. 

Undergoing PCR testing is required in one of the laboratories in Moscow connected to the Unified Medical Information and Analytical System (UMIAS). The list of institutions can be found on the website of the Moscow City Health Department.

Construction of Stands
When designing the stand social distance should be minded. Minimal number of employees needs to be used during the stand set up and dismantle. Exhibits, tables, chairs, counters etc. need to be positioned on the stand with consideration to keeping the 1.5m social distance. 
The number of exhibits and printed materials on the stand needs to be limited. Electronic presentations need to be used instead. 
Hand sanitizers need to be available everywhere at the Expocentre Fairgrounds. Visitor routing, separate entrances / exits, floor marking need to be designed on the stand. Tables, chairs, information counters etc. need to be set with consideration to keeping the 1.5m social distance.   

Attending to the Stand
The person in charge needs to conduct a safety meeting for the stand attendants. Individual face masks, gloves, hand sanitizers etc. need to be available on the stand in good supply. Individual face masks need to be changed 1 in 3 hrs. The person in charge needs to see to it that the stand attendants change the face masks and sanitize their hands regularly. Keeping the 1.5m social distance is mandatory during set up, stand attending and dismantle. 

Eating is allowed in special rooms according to the preliminary made schedule. Keeping the 1.5m social distance is mandatory during the meal. If the stand size is no enough for a special room for having meal, the meal can be had at special zones at the Fairgrounds itself. Food needs to be packed in disposable plastic containers. Only disposable cutlery and bottled water are to be used. The 1.5m social distance needs to be minded when considering the number of stand attendants and visitors simultaneously present on the stand.  

The stand needs to be sanitized every morning before the event.  The stand needs to be sanitized every 2 hrs during the event. 

Used facial masks and gloves need to be collected in special plastic bags and disposed of.
