MMK Industrial Park Confirms Leading Position in Rating of Country’s Best Investment Sites

According to the annual assessment by the Expert-Ural rating agency, MMK Industrial Park took second place in the category “Sites Located within a Radius of up to 250 km from an Economic Growth Centre”.

Over the seven years that it has been in operation, the Industrial Park has achieved the highest level of customer-centricity in the Russian Federation, which is in line with MMK’s development strategy. Forty-five companies are currently operating at the Industrial Park, 19 of which are engaged in industrial production. The site’s current occupancy rate is 83%.

Since 2016, residents have invested a total of over RUB 1.5 billion in their own development. At the same time, residents have invested RUB 3.6 in infrastructure for every rouble invested by the Industrial Park itself, which indicates a high degree of trust in the park’s management company and confidence in the potential for further growth. This positive trend shows that resident companies have enjoyed stable development thanks to the convenient terms in place, including the introduction of regional and municipal benefits in 2016.

MMK Industrial Park is a subsidiary of Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK), a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor,  and MMK-METIZ, a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor. The complex has a total area of 65 hectares with developed engineering infrastructure and a rail network, as well as all the conditions necessary for practically any sort of new production facility to make a fast start.
