New potential of construction complex of Moscow region
Alexey Efimov, Metal-Expo Director General visited Tula Steel Structures Plant, a Steelinvest facility as part of arrangement of MetallStroyForum’2011 International Exhibition for Steel Products and Structures for Construction. Looking back, Steelinvest set up an own-produced steel structure 11 m in height right in front of the main entrance of hall 75 at Metal-Expo’2010 to show the whole range of operations performed by imported equipment set up at the Steel Structures Plant in the Tula region in combination with progressive designer ideas as well as the most up-to-date software.
Today Steelinvest is completing building and assembly works in the sandwich-panels plant to start setting up of the sandwich-panels line by the end of 2011. After the line is commissioned in the beginning of 2012 Steelinvest will have all the facilities necessary to manufacture the whole range of elements for the assembly of steel buildings including sandwich-panels, shaped decking, welded beams, steel structures etc.
Metal-Expo Director General also visited Revyakino Steel-Rolling Plant to participate in the ceremony of commissioning of a continuous furnace #2. The current stage of modernization the project was carried out on will allow the plant to increase output to 35kt of long products per month against 24k t in 2010. The plant is supposed reach the designer capacity in May 2011. Due to the commissioning of the new facilities Revyakino Steel-Rolling Plant will account to around 40% of rebar steels sales in the Moscow region. Today the demand for the products of the plant judging by the number of orders received reaches around 40kt. The production program of the plant for the next three months includes mastering production of 28 and 32 mm reinforced steels followed by strips, squares, angles as well as А1 reinforced steels.
Both plants located in the Tula region are considered major players in the Moscow region market of steel products for the construction sector. Many of their already carried out and future innovative projects will be presented at MetallStroyForum’2011 on November 15-18, 2011 , Hall 69, The All-Russia Exhibition Center, Moscow.
