Metallurgmash, the International Union of Metallurgical Equipment Producers has discussed strategy of development
An annual meeting of Metallurgmash, The International Union of Metallurgical Equipment Producers was held in Moscow on April 7. Among the participants of the meeting were heads of machine-building works, engineering companies, scientific institutions. A. Efrimov, Direcotre General, Metal-Expo also participated in the event.
Participants of the meeting resumed results of the activity of the Union, elected new Presidium, and approved a new plan of operation. The Union will continue working on the program on Development of Heavy Machine-Building in Russia for 2012-2016, develop its consulting and engineering activities at preproject and project stages of modernization of steel production facilities, as well as personnel training.
Alexander Romanov, Co-Chairman, Metal-Expo Organizing Committee was elected a member Metallurgmash Presidium. A. Romanov presented Metal-Expo’2011 as a platform of new business opportunities for machine-building enterprises for more than 700 companies will take participate in the event while more than 30 000 steel industry professionals will visit the show.
This year Metal-Expo will be extended due to MetallurgMash exposition arranged in close cooperation with Metallurgmash. More than 200 suppliers of equipment and technologies will exhibit at MetallurgMash. The exhibition will cover the following industry segments:

● Melting, pouring, and rolling equipment for ferrous industry
● Melting and rolling equipment for non-ferrous industry
