Metal-Expo’2011 program of events to extend
More than 50 events have already been confirmed as part of Metal-Expo’2011 International Industrial Exhibition program of events. The organizer of the event expects 15-10 more seminars, round tables and presentations to be added to the program in the nearest future. More than 600 companies from more than 30 countries will present their expositions at the show white more than 30 000 professionals will visit the event this year. The main goals of such events are presenting new developments to potential partners and subcontractors, strengthening already existing contacts, and finding new ones. For example, TMK will hold a meeting with its dealers, Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will hold a coordination meeting for steel industry participants etc.
This year some new events focused on new attendees will be added to Metal-Expo’2011 program events. Thus, an exposition of innovative developments in the steel industry which received state grants will be organized under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Among the new events has become Steel Structures Design conference initiated by TsNIIPSK named after Melnikov. In additional to that Steel in Construction: Present and Future, 2d congress will be extended by Welding, Thermal Cutting and Protective Coatings in the Steel Industry and Metalworking conference. This year an ongoing forgers’ show and a competition for the best application of steel and aluminium in construction will be held during MetallStroyForum, an exposition for steel products and structures for construction.
Among the new events will be a conference on Equipment, Tools and Auxiliary Materials for the Hardware Industry organized by Prommetiz Association. In additional to that, Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers initiated a meeting for major aluminium producers and users focused on carrying out of the program on stimulating use of alumnium products in various industries. High school students will attend a meeting called Future is Now, followed by awarding of winners of competition among young scientist.
The total of more than 50 commercial and research institutions will become organizers of the Metal-Expo’2011 program of events. Over its 17-year history the exhibition has become the main platform for steel producers and users from Russia, the CIS, and East Europe.
