This year’s Moscow Metal Week is going to be filled with events
The traditional autumn Moscow Metal Week will begin on November, 12th starting with the 15th International Conference “The Russian Metal and Steel Market-2012”, organized by Metal Supply and Sale Magazine in cooperation with the leading manufacturers and suppliers of metal products.
Over 50 conventions will be held in the framework of Metal-Expo’2012. The first day of the exposition will see a number of conferences, followed by the evening reception where The Main Event in the Russian Steel Industry Contest will announce its winners. The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation is going to hold either a meeting of the Steel Industry Coordinating Council or a meeting of ministers of industry in the regions.
The largest number of specialists from various industries including construction, machine-building, fuel and energy complex, metal and steel trading, transportation, and logistics will visit the All-Russian Exhibition Center on Wednesday, November 14. The conferences on IT, metal hardware, secondary raw materials, and metal construction will be organized during the second day of the event. The Ministry of Industry and Trade will hold a workshop on carrying out a program on mastering new types of products and improving quality of products for the automotive industry for the period until 2015. By the end of the day the best solutions for implementation of steel and aluminum in construction will be awarded Metal-Expo gold and silver medals. The third day, November 15, is going to have another action-packed program of events. In particular, Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers will call a meeting on issues of development of aluminum products manufacture and use in Russia. At the end of the day best enterprises, companies, and institutions will be awarded Metal-Expo gold and silver medals for high-tech development of equipment, technologies and ferrous and non-ferrous products.
On the fourth day of the exhibition, November 16, Metal-Expo welcomes Future is Decided Now, a convention of students and post-graduates of steel institutions. During the meeting there will be awarding winners of a contest among young scientists, a job fair for talented students and experienced professionals - Best of the Best, and traditional Metal-Expo award for the Best Exhibit. In total, Metal-Expo will host more than 700 exhibitors from 35 countries; over 4,000 qualified specialists and top-managers of companies-participants are going to work during the exhibition, and more than 30,000 professionals of key sectors of real economy will visit the event.
The large-scale exhibition and congress forum will bring together leading steel producers, tubes and pipes manufacturers, non-ferrous metals processing plants, aluminum rolled products manufacturers, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, providers of engineering solutions, steel traders, constructors, machine-builders, oil and gas producers, transportation and logistic companies, as well as other representatives of real sector of economy. Over its 18-year history Metal-Expo has become the main business platform for steel producers and users, and a key industrial event with participation of the major industry leaders.
