Metal-Expo’2012 results have been announced
A wash-up meeting of Metal-Expo Organizing Committee was held yesterday to announce results of Metal-Expo’2013, the 18th International Industrial Exhibition.
The majority of Organizing Committee members highly evaluated the quality of Metal-Expo’2102 exhibitors for as before, the exhibition had brought together leading ferrous and non-ferrous producers, largest equipment manufacturer and suppliers, as well as companies and organizations engaged in the construction and other segments of economy. A big number of events covering nearly all the steel industry segments was held during the four days of the exhibition.
Independent auditing results read, the total exhibition space grew 10% in 2012 reaching 34.505k sqm, the number of exhibitors grew 12% reaching 722, while the number of stand attendants grew 13% up to 4.100k.
Metal-Expo organizers expect further growth of the exhibition in 2013: the total exhibition space is expеcted to exceed 35k sqm, the number of exhibitors will grow to 800 companies due to, among other things, new international companies entering the Russian market.
In additional to that, a number of projects on modernization of already existing and building of new facilities including mini-mills will be implemented in 2013 and therefore presented at Metal-Expo’2013. The whole structure of the Russian steel and steel-related industries will change in 2013 and Metal-Expo as a barometer of the industry will surely reflect it.
