Stainless solutions to the market

Russia is one of a few world markets with growing consumption of stainless and special steel grades. 35.363 Mt of stainless steels were produced in the world in 2012. The global stainless steels production is expected to reach 36.7 Mt in 2013. Russian consumption of main types of stainless products reached 350.3 kt in 2012. This year it is expected to grow 10-11%. Special and stainless steels market with its growing export and import supplies and ongoing modernization of facilities, let alone mastering new types of products and services has always been among top priorities for producers and users.

A number of Russian and international producers of special and stainless steel grades widely used in machine-building, power engineering, infrastructure construction, oil and gas industry, food industry etc. will present their latest products and solutions at Metal-Expo’2013, the 19th International Industrial Exhibition in Moscow.

Mechel, Krasny Oktyabr, Asha Steel Works, OMZ-Special Steels, Electrostal, Dneprospetsstal, Acerinox, Ovako, Ambica and many more stainless steel producers have already confirmed their participation in the event. Stainless tubes widely used in water and gas pipelines, construction etc. will be exhibited at TMK, Filit, and Centravis expositions.

Stainless steels suppliers and processers including Globus-Steel, Stal-Garant, Kontinental, Salut, Inox Metal, Orinox, Gamms Steel, UTK-Steel, Galion and many more will also arrange their expositions at the All-Russia Exhibition Center on 12-15 November.

Due to a big number of special and stainless steels producers and suppliers represented at Metal-Expo, stainless steels end-users will face a big choice of this expensive types of product from all over the world. The total of more than 750 companies from 35 world countries will exhibit at Metal-Expo’2013.
