New tubes-making facilities to be exhibited at Metal-Expo’2014
Despite the economical crisis new tubes-making facilities are commissioned in Russia. Commissioning at the end of May casing tubes line at Uraltrubprom, capacity: 120kt/y is among the biggest projects of the year. Couplings of 146 to 426 mm size types can also be manufactured on the line. The Domestic casing tubes market grew 13% in 2013 reaching 1 338kt. In October Seversk Pipe Works (a TMK facility) is finishing construction of FQM seamless tubes line. The total investments in the project reach 17bn rubles. The line will mainly be used for production of hot-rolled seamless tubes of 168—339mm in dia., and 6.4—40mm wall thickness. The capacity of the line reaches 600kt/y. OMK has launched a project on building a seamless tubes complex in Chusovoy costing 45bn rubles. After commissioning in 2018 the complex will produce a wide range of premium joints oil & gas pipes, as well as casing tubes of 73 to 245mm in dia, wall thickness: 4 to 20mm; capacity: 450kt/y. All the key national tubes and pipes producers including TMK, OMK, ChTPZ, Izhora Pipes Works, Uraltrubprom and many more will exhibit at Metal-Expo’2014. Considering the domestic market a top priority, Russian tubes and pipes producers will use the opportunity to meet with their partners and dealers at the exhibition. Along with the top producers a number of smaller tubes and pipes companies including Bor Tube Factory, Porfil-Akras, TEMPO, DIA PK, Rosmetall, Noginsk Tubes Shaping Works, Agrisovgaz, Tagil Steel, Moscow Tubes Company etc. will also participate in Metal-Expo’2014. International tube producers and suppliers as well as equipment manufacturers including Oimpia 80, Faspar, Buhlmann, Tubacex, Arvedi Tubi Acciaio, Dexin Steel Tube, Tianjing Boyu Steel Pipe, : SMS, Atomat, Siempelkamp Interpipe, Centravis and many more will also exhibit their latest products and solutions.
