SSAB products stirred interest of Metal-Expo’2014 visitors

As an exhibitor of Metal-Expo’2014, SSB held on November 12 a press-conference The Merger of SSAB and Ruukki: New Leader on the Global Steel Market to tell about a new business-strategy of the company and the advantages of using high-strength steels, cold-rolled steels, steels with polymer coatings, tubular products, and shapes. Heads of all the divisions took part in the event. “The newly born giant will acquire and combines the best from the 2 companies for customers and partners to receive higher service”, said V. Pikalov, Director for Development and Production, Ruukki Rus. With its 8.8Mt/y production capacity the new corporation will become a leader in the global special steels market. SSAB has a wide network in 50 world countries including Russia and the CIS, and its business is focused on developing long-term relations with old customers rather than finding new ones.
