On May 30, 2002 MetallTecExpo/Metallurgiya-Litmash’2002 international specialized exhibition was closed. 250 companies from 30 countries of the world participated in the exhibition whereas more than 8000 specialists visited the exhibition. A number of presentations and seminars organized by the exhibitors such as Official Ceremony of Certificate Granting to NOSTA Distributors, Presentation of UMC, Conference on the Issues of Improving the Quality of Corrosion-Resistant Tubes (UVIS) etc were held within the frameworks of the exhibition. On May 29, The Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies of the Russian Federation together with Aluminium Company held a scientific and practical counsel on the Russian Aluminium Industry. On the last day of the exhibition a Committee consisting of the leaders of The Ministry of Industry, Science and Technologies of the Russian Federation, German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technologies, Russian Association of Metal and Steel Traders, Russian Union of Metal Exporters, Metal-Expo and Messe Duesseldorf awarded the laureates of the exhibition with cups and certificates of gratitude of MetallTecExpo/Metallurgiya-Litmash’2002 exhibition. The cups for the best presentation at the exhibition went to A&M Products, Ariel Group of Companies, ICE, Interpipe Corporation, Lebedinsky Dressing Plant, Mechel, Nizhny Tagil Iron & Steel Works, NOSTA, The United Metallurgical Company, Oskol Electric and Steel Works, Pervouralsky Novotrubny Works, Roesler GmbH, SMS Demag, Stupino Steel Company, Tebowa MGP, Pipe Metallurgical Company, Uraltrubprom, Foundry Club, Ferrostaal, UVIS.
