Fives Supports China’s Clean Energy Strategy with Contract from Major Bearing Manufacturer

Fives, a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor, has secured an order to supply a Giustina Vertical Single Disc grinding machine to one of the world’s leading bearing manufacturers.

Grinding | Ultra Precision team has been granted an order to supply a cutting-edge technology machine, key to the manufacturing process of special-purpose and high precision bearing rings measuring up to 2 meters in diameter.

The machine will facilitate a significant capacity increase in the production of bearing rings, which will be used for the wind power market in China. Increased production of wind turbines is critical to China’s clean energy strategy.
