Metalloinvest Developing Automated Procurement Management System

Metalloinvest, a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor, is developing an automated procurement management system based on the B2B-Center electronic trading platform. Implementation of the system will enable the Company to manage supplier and contract life cycles, and make purchases on the electronic platform and through internet catalogues. Metalloinvest has carried out more than 100 tender procedures worth 400 million rubles in the first two months of operation on the platform. By the end of the year the Company plans to transfer the majority of its procurement to B2B-Center, including for raw materials and standard products through catalogues.

5 thousand suppliers registered on B2B-Center have already received Metalloinvest’s accreditation. The Company checks the trustworthiness and legitimacy of the statutory documents of potential counterparties, as well as the absence of tax arrears, lawsuits, decisions on suspension of operations and conflicts of interest.
