TMK INOX Starts Production of Precision Pipes for NPPs at Sinarsky

Russian Pipe Metallurgical Company TMK, a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor, has put into operation at TMK-INOX a cold-rolling mill for pipes that has no analogues in Russia.

Thanks to the new equipment, the enterprise will increase the volume of production of high-tech products used in the construction of nuclear power plants. TMK-INOX is located on the territory of the Sinarsky Pipe Plant, which is part of TMK, and specializes in the production of high-precision pipes made of stainless steel and alloys with controlled nanostructure and improved properties. A new high-speed rolling mill with a capacity of 260 tonnes per year installed at the enterprise is designed to automatically produce long precision tubes from stainless steel grades.

The introduction of the new mill will allow doubling the production of pipes for steam generators of nuclear power plants.
