Metal-Expo Organizing Committee Discussed the Forthcoming Events
Members of Metal-Expo’2021 Organizing Committee (among them officials and heads of industrial unions and leading research institutions) met on April 20 at the Memorial Complex of Alternate Command Post of Supreme Commander in Chief by the Russian Armed Forces Museum, Moscow.
Steel Builders’ Platform
SteelStructures’2021, the 6th International Exhibition will be held on June 8-10, 2021 at Expocentre Fairgrounds, Moscow, Russia to meet the interests of producers and suppliers of steel for construction and their end-users. Steel structures manufacturers and steel processors will exhibit their latest solutions to the construction industry, one of the main end-users of steel products in Russia.
“Construction of high-rise building with steel skeletons is more advantageous as compared to the traditional construction for it is faster, easier and cheaper”, said Alexander Danilov, General Manager, Steel Construction Development Association. During the exhibition, the Association will hold a number of roundtables on regulatory-technical base, new solutions and synergy of use of galvanized rolled stock and steel structures in construction.

Prommetiz Association will hold High-Quality Fasteners for The Durability of Machines and Steel Structures conference during SteelStructures’2021. Among other things the event will cover ways of improving collaboration among producers, end-users and traders, prospects of improving competitiveness of the fasteners segment of the hardware industry, innovative solutions etc.
A roundtable on modern steel bridge-building will also be held in parallel to SteelStructures’2021.
Russian Union of Metal and Steel Suppliers will bring together steel structures manufacturers, steel products suppliers and end-users to discuss ways of their cooperation in the volatile market.
I general, hundreds of steel industry professionals will attend SteelStructures’2021 and the events to be held in parallel to the exhibition.
Summit of Foundrymen
SteelStrucures’2021 will be held I parallel to Metallurgy.Russia’2021, Litmash.Russia’2021 and Tube.Rusia’2021 International Industrial Exhibitions to enhance the synergy effect of the events exhibiting the whole range of the latest solutions to the foundry, steel and tubes industries. Over the years the exhibitions have proved themselves to be efficient platforms for establishing business contacts between steel companies and industry professionals from all over the world. Such industrial events have become perfect tools to help industry professionals know the latest market trends and find solutions to the most pressing problems. BRICS Foundry Forum will be held in parallel to Metallurgy.Russia’2021, Litmash.Russia’2021 and Tube.Rusia’2021 this year. Members of Metal-Expo Organizing Committee discussed events to be held in parallel to Metal-Expo’2021 as well. Russia with its growing market remains one of the most promising economies. Leading Russian and international steel groups (ArcelorMittal for example) have already confirmed their participation in Metal-Expo’2021 in November. The total Metal-Expo’2021 exhibition space (more than 30k sqm) surpasses the pre-pandemic Metal-Expo events. Steel producers, tubes manufacturers, hardware manufacturers, non-ferrous producers, steel products suppliers, steel traders, as well as builders, oil and gas producers, engineers and steel structures manufacturers will arrange massive expositions at Metal-Expo’2021.
More than 50 events: conferences, seminars, roundtables on the most pressing problems of the steel industry among them use of new materials and equipments in the ferrous and non-ferrous industries, secondary resources, reinforced bars standardization, galvanized and pre-painted rolled products market, new types of steel products for the automotive and medical industries, additive and 3D technologies, steel structures market, hardware industry structure, steel industry marketing, IT-solutions, corporate communication etc. will be held in parallel to Mertal-Expo’2021. Among the organizers of the events will be key industrial unions, associations and leading scientific and research institutions. A meeting of the Coordination Counsel by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation will as before take place on Metal-Expo’2021 platform.
Winners of contests for The Main Event in the Russian Steel Industry’2021, The Best Russian Stock and Steel Warehouse’2021, The Best Russian Sales Network’2021, The Best Russian Steel Service Center’2021, a contest among young scientists etc will be awarded at Metal-Expo’2021. The most prominent achievements in the ferrous and non-ferrous industries, manufacture of modern equipments for the steel industry and metalworking will be awarded Metal-Expo gold and silver medals.
Steel market participants and their subcontractors will be arranging meetings during the four days Metal-Expo’2021 to discuss and find solutions to their problems and sign cooperation contracts. Metal-Expo is one of few Russian exhibitions attended by steel company leaders, top-managers and decision-makers. Currently, Metal-Expo’2021 exposition is under arrangement.
