Metso Outotec Settler Washer Train Technology for Alumina Refinery

Metso Outotec, a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor, has signed a contract with China International Aluminium Engineering Corporation for the delivery of sustainable technology and equipment for a single settler washer train for PT Inalum’s new 1 million tonne per annum alumina refinery to be built in Mempawah in West Kalimantan in Indonesia. The Settler Washer Train technology will enable customer to recover valuable caustic and meet their red mud disposal and washing targets.

Metso Outotec’s Settler Washer Train and red mud filtering technologies are listed as Planet Positive products.
