NLMK Group Among Leaders in ESG Ranking of Russian Companies

NLMK Group, a Metal-Expo regular exhibitor, was ranked among Top 3 Russian companies in sustainable development according to Expert magazine. NLMK gained 18 positions vs last year.

The authors of the rating assessed the companies’ performance in the following areas: corporate governance and its efficiency, financial stability, development of the regions where the companies operate, social policy, environmental impact.

NLMK Group integrates matters of sustainable development into its long-term strategy. The Company’s achievements are reflected in its top positions in corresponding ratings. In 2021, Sustainalytics upgraded NLMK’s sustainability rating: NLMK is currently among Top 10 out of the 140 steel companies analysed by the agency. In 2020, NLMK was ranked among Top 10 in the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Russia and National Rating Agency’s Environmental Transparency Rating of Mining & Metals Companies.
