Global Energy Transition and Russian Ferrous Metallurgy

On June 2-3, Tula hosted the 19th Metallurgical Summit «Russian Steel: Growth Strategy». Its theme was identified as «Global Energy Transition and Russian Ferrous Metallurgy». Experts, including representatives of steel making companies, government officials and industry analysts discussed the ‘green’ transformation in the iron and steel industry, decarbonization, the state of the steel market and the prospects for demand.

(Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) was represented at the summit by the Director for Health, Safety and Environment Grigory Shchurov and the Head of Sustainable Development Yaroslava Vrubel.
