Winners of the All-Russia Competition for the Best Up-To-Date Types of Steel Products and Structures for Construction have been Nominated
The All-Russia Competition for the Best Up-To-Date Types of Steel Products and Structures for Construction held by the Organizing Committee of MetallStroyForum (March 18-21, the All-Russia Exhibition Center, Moscow) has finished with the nomination of winners. The award ceremony was part of Russian Steel Construction: Global Economic Challenges and Strategies conference.
The winners are:
Kashira Coated Steels Plant for continuous hot-dip galvanizing line;
Kashira Coated Steels Plant for hot-dip galvanized coils (GOST 52246_2004);
Ural Pipe Works Uraltrubprom for Unitek standard building system;
Ural Pipe Works Uraltrubprom for quickly assembled mobile building of foldable sections;
MetaKom for corrugated beams;
United Metallurgical Company (OMK) for casting and rolling complex;
Russian Foundrymen Association for organization of production and sales of composite materials with application of decorative stainless steels (aluminium alloys) with antivandal and corrosion-resistant coating.
N. Koshman, President of Builders Association of Russia promised to support the competition for innovative types of products. The project aims at turning the market to new achievements of engineers in developing of new types of steel rolled products and structures for construction.
