Metal-Expo’2009 to open in a month

Metal-Expo’2009, 15th International Industrial Exhibition will open in a month in Moscow. Some 20 000 Russian and foreign professionals in the steel and related industries are expected to visit the event. More than 500 companies from more than 30 countries will present their expositions at the exhibition.
The exposition of the fair will be divided by 4 key segments of the steel industry: ferrous industry: manufacturing process and products, Non-Ferrous Industry: Manufacturing Process and Products, Equipment and Technologies for Steel Industry and Metalworking as well as High Conversion Products, and Raw Material Supplies for Steel Industry.
Since the program of events to be held during the exhibition is very tense exhibitors and visitors plan their meetings with partners, subcontractors, and customers long before the beginning of the event. Usually some 500 CEOs represent their companies on the stands while some 4 000 managers and top managers are present on the stands during the 4 days of the event. Market participants traditionally meet at Metal-Expo to sum up production and financial results of the year and discuss plans for the future. Since during the economic recession finding new sales markets, exchange opinions and working out strategies are very important, market participants try not to miss the opportunity to attend conferences, seminars and round tables on all the crucial aspects of the steel business which are held during the exhibition.
